Sample WTORS Report

An Estraints WTORS report records the inputs used to assess wheelchair occupant shoulder-belt anchorage geometry and presents the calculated result in a repeatable format for engineering, manufacturing or QA records.

This page explains the structure and contents of an Estraints report using an illustrative project reference. It does not display a completed calculator-generated result or numerical anchorage coordinates. It is not a vehicle approval, certification or substitute for an actual calculation.

Before selecting a plan, ask Estraints about report output for your intended workflow, or view the calculator workflow.

Example project information

Vehicle / project

Example: Wheelchair accessible passenger vehicle
Project reference: SAMPLE-001
Assessment purpose: upper shoulder-belt anchorage geometry

Assessment framework

Example: Selected WTORS standards framework
Occupant size: illustrative only
Wheelchair position: illustrative only

Measurements recorded

The report retains the measurements and assumptions entered for the assessed vehicle, wheelchair and occupant configuration. Depending on the calculation workflow, these include the geometry needed to relate the occupant shoulder, wheelchair position and proposed vehicle anchorage.

  • Vehicle reference dimensions
  • Wheelchair seating position and height
  • Representative occupant information
  • Measured X, Y and Z relationships used by the calculator
  • Selected standards framework

Calculated anchorage result

The calculator uses the entered measurements and selected standards framework to calculate and document an upper shoulder-belt anchorage result for the assessed configuration. The report records that result so it can be reviewed and retained with the project file.

Graphical views included

Front view

Shows the lateral relationship between the occupant, wheelchair and calculated anchorage geometry.

Side view

Shows the vertical and longitudinal relationship that affects the shoulder-belt path.

Top view

Shows the plan-view relationship between wheelchair position and anchorage geometry.

What the report is useful for

  • Engineering and design review
  • WAV build and modification records
  • Quality-assurance documentation
  • Repeat-build control
  • Technical discussions between builders, installers and certifiers

What the report does not certify

The report does not certify structural anchorage strength, approve the vehicle modification, confirm every WTORS requirement has been met, or replace restraint-manufacturer instructions. Vehicle structure, installation, product compatibility, regulatory compliance and final approval remain separate responsibilities.
