Select the Applicable Standards Framework

Choose the standard relevant to your geographical location. Option includes:

  • RESNA WC-4 Section18 (WC18)
  • SAE J2249
  • CSA-Z605
  • ISO 10542
  • AS/NZS 10542.1

Enter the Required Measurements and Generate the Report

View and Download Your Custom Report
Download your report in PDF format, view it online or save it to your account. Each report includes job details, applicable standards, occupant size, sash point and front, top and side 3D graphical views.

How the Estraints WTORS Calculator Works

The workflow is designed to turn measured inputs into a repeatable, reviewable restraint-geometry record.

  1. Select the applicable standards framework. Choose the standard relevant to the project and jurisdiction.
  2. Define the wheelchair and occupant configuration. Record the applicable occupant size and seating assumptions.
  3. Enter the required vehicle measurements. Use the measured vehicle geometry rather than visual judgement.
  4. Calculate the upper anchorage position. Estraints processes the inputs against the selected standards framework.
  5. Review the graphical geometry. Check the resulting front, side and top views for the assessed configuration.
  6. Generate and retain the report. Save the calculation and report as part of the project, engineering or QA record.

Typical uses

Use the calculator during WAV concept design, prototype review, engineering assessment, repeat production and quality-assurance checks where the same assumptions remain valid.
